10 Ayurvedic Herbs You Should Know About

Ayurveda is a traditional Indian system of medicine that’s been practiced for over 5000 years. It aims to bring the body into balance through herbs, diet, and lifestyle changes.

1. Ashwagandha

In ayurvedic medicine, ashwagandha is used as an ayurvedic remedy to restore balance by strengthening or weakening these forces. Ashwagandha has become popular with Westerners as a way to reduce stress, improve sleep patterns, increase energy levels and feel more grounded overall.

Ashwagandha is also known as Indian ginseng because it can be used in the same way that we use Ginseng: for its strength-giving properties and ability to regulate blood sugar levels. 5. Gotu Kola
